A little news,,

Our family of three is about to become a family of four!!
On the weekend we bought a puppy!! He won't be ready to bring home until December- puppies aren't just for Christmas buuut, he is our Christmas puppy! We are very excited to bring him home and over the next few weeks we will be preparing the house and reading up on training guides for his arrival. Yesterday I showed Molly a picture I took of him and, though she has no idea that the doggy on my screen will soon be in her living room, she seemed pretty besotted by his face and kept shouting 'Dawgiiie, dawgiiiie!'. If you have any tips, book suggestions, or bloggers who have dogs please link me up. I'm so excited but I want to make his arrival as easy as possible so any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance :)
This picture was taken during our visit to Wales, Molly likes cats too ;)

  1. Awww! This is so cute! Which breed are you getting? The puppy part is definitely the hardest part of having a dog, I wanted to take mine back! But now I wouldn't ever swap him for the world :) One of the most important things was to make sure he knew his place in the family (darn pack mentality) so little things like giving him his dinner after you have eaten so he knows he is not the leader of the pack was good! Also get tonnes of puppy pads! Usually quite easy to toilet train too, I think my dog was sorted after about 2 weeks :) and socialise them! Make it a lovely friendly dawgie :) I could go on for years about this haha! Hope it's helpful, I'm really excited for you :) xoxo

  3. Awh, what a wonderful Christmas gift.
I've been a little envious of Rosie from ciderwithrosiebee.blogspot.co.uk as she's just got herself a lovely little cocker spaniel called Teddy, you should definitely check out her blog as it's great to see her pup growing.

  5. Hi there, I met your mum in her fab wool shop in Wales. She gave me your blog address and her ravelry conatct but I can understand it. Could you possibly ask her if she could contact me again with it. Its Katie and Im polly pincushion@wordpress. Your mum was lovely and I could have chatted for hours but my husband was waiting with tea at T H Roberts.
