Dog On Cooking Scales,,

Remember these??? How different did Molly look!? Well,, Klaus had his turn on the scales just before his first set of jabs back in December. Look how tiny he was!! Well today while I was sat reading upstairs (so many books) I heard him yelp and rushed downstairs, I had visions of a dog burglar man-handling him. Apparently there's been a spate of small dog thefts. Anyway it turned out he'd pulled the telephone onto himself. Dogs are a menace. We're taking him for training soon I cannot wait! Cute as they are puppies are hard work. Any tips? The girls on twitter have been amazing, especially in encouraging me to be firm, Jamie gets far to sympathetic more so than with Molly, so thank you ladies! We've also had to have our carpet cleaned once already, and I had to take away our persian rug until he is trained. I cannot stand the.smell. It's not all bad, he's kind of like a hoover for Molly's snack messes. And he is very sweet. Sometimes though it seems a whole lot of work for an occasional 'awwh'.. don't tell Jamie ;) I love you really dogger, but let's get you trained so I can love you even more!

  1. Puppies are a cute pain in the bum!
My American bulldog used to eat his own poo when he was tiny, awful. If Klaus ever does that, feed him pineapple, they won't eat it once that is in there, apparently they hate it!
    He is such a beauty!

  2. Oh my goodness, these photos are completely adorable! Our dog is quite an elderly gentleman now, but when he is a puppy, being firm really helped - and failing that, when he was mischievous in puppy training classes, we used to take him on big walks before the class so he was tired out and behaved. Probably not the best tip though! x

  3. I agree, my pup is the sweetest little thing...but also such hard work. She chews everything...and we can't stop her from mouthing / biting either. She needs training asap! She had her second injections on Saturday, so we'll be able to take her soon fingers crossed!

  7. Oh he's adorable. I completely understand about the training, we have a 4 month old Staffie and I'm considering taking him training. My hubby treats him like an antique vase! Haha :) x
