1/52

"A portrait of Molly, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Showing off her lashes with her big-girl hair bun after a shower with Mama. I promise not to forget those perfect moments when she buries her head into my neck as the water cleans our skin.

I thought about joining Jodi in her "A portrait of my children, once a week, every week, in 2012." last year, however I don't think I discovered her blog until she said hello in the spring? At which point I completely fangirled and was amazed I hadn't seen her incredible amalgamation of photography and words before.. there I go fangirling again. I felt it was too late in the year to begin my 52, this with a million deadlines looming each week I thought it best not to commit to something that at a later date might break my heart not to finish. This year however I have decided to join in and commit. If anything it guarantees a post every Sunday for you my dear readers who I am thankful for every time I post. I cannot wait to make it into a book next year, but for now I'd better focus on that deadline (tomorrow!) that will not write itself.
