Over The Weekend..

This weekend has been largely revolved around food and I'm not complaining!
Food Related Post #1
The Dinner Date.
Jamie's on a cooking kick and last night made us a Gino D'Acampo dish.
We never eat at our kitchen table and since we have a rather tiny kitchen,
thought it was about time to make use of the furniture that takes up half the space.
We are aiming to eat at it at least twice a week and each month choose a cookbook
to select meals from for our food shop and give it a review.
We may even make a feature of it on here :)
It was nice to sit opposite each other at a table as opposed to opposite ends of sofa,
food on our laps in front of the television. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you have a baby
-It's a good way of having a conversation that doesn't revolve around poo!
Jamie has become quite the cook, considering when we first met he lived off turkey dinosaurs!
Bonus for me :)

Recipe can be found here I added mini baked potatoes as I can't abide meat without them
..I'm my grandfathers daughter! (I think it's a British post war thing)

Our Third Robert's Family Christmas :)

So today is New Years Eve, and this is a little late, we have had a very busy but lovely Christmas week :) I didn't realise how many pictures we took until I had a look today, but at the same time I'm kicking myself for not taking enough! We never got a family portrait with Molly's Nanny and Gangan, but there's always next year and I got a tripod for a late Christmas present :)

Molly enjoyed the day but she was a little poorly so spent a lot of her first Christmas sleeping. But I do believe she is very happy with her gifts, especially her baby laptop! It hasn't left her knees! Takes after mummy then, hehe.

Here are a few snippets from our Christmas day. I hope you all had a good Christmas, and you're having a Happy New Year :)

Christmas dinner with the pals.

A few snaps from our Christmas party. I’m really sad Hermione’s leaving for America in January for a term, but before she goes we’re going to have a big party to make up for it.

My highlight of the Pals Christmas Party was definitely willy wars.. it was a clear winner for the Secret Santa. Have you had any Christmas parties? Just over a week to go :D
