Boxing Day aka SNOW DAY!!!

So after a rather long and exhausting few days, Boxing Day felt like a bit of an anti-climax. Christmas day wasn't quite as cheery as it usually is and I was feeling a bit like maybe I hadn't created as much magic for Molly as I would have liked to. Then again I think it was more that she was still unwell and unsure in our new home (she's still not warmed to it really). Then... it snowed! I was SO excited to look out the window and see a white boxing day!!! I dressed Molly up and told her I had a surprise. She looked at me suspiciously and asked if it was rain.. I told her it was better than rain. SNOW she gasped!

We put on our coats. I could only find one baby mitten so she wore one mitten and a sock on her hands and we ran outside! She stayed with me until her hands were 'chilly'. Then we enjoyed our tea before bed. I had my second Christmas dinner. It was so worth it getting a larger turkey crown just for the extra.
I think I'll call him Melvin.

Snow Day,,

Molly's snow day last year wasn't quite as snowy! Though my camera seemed to do better.. Anyhow, you'll have to forgive the blue nature of these, it's the best I could do with the software that comes with. How cute is that little hat??! This was before we got the lethal ice. Well it's all gone and yesterday we had lotss of rain. It feels like England again. I'm working today, doing homework this evening and then going out. It's a busy week, so if I don't blog again, happy Tuesday :)

Snow Day!

OK, so I may of taken these last time it snowed in February! But as we're having this freak
April Snow shower I'd post them today :) We took them while on a walk to Jamie's parents
for sunday lunch. Molly was very puzzled by the snow in February, this time around she
sang at the snowflakes and smiled, though we stayed sheltered inside as Molly currently has
a cold. I forgot to update my blogger- she does not have chicken pox! It was a false alarm, but
at least we are now prepared for when they do hit :)
