The best of Summer 2013

The other morning we woke at 6.30 and stumbled downstairs to meet the fog with tea and honey toast. We watched films and snuggled with Klaus. By lunchtime the sun had brightened and it felt like August again. I took this instagram and was reminded what a perfect summer this has been. Molly has grown from little toddler in a cot to a little girl in a huge (single) bed. Klaus learnt to wee outside. Jamie got a big promotion with a new job and I couldn't be prouder of all the hard work he does for our family. And of course I graduated- and I've not done much since ;) Sharing my life with this family, which I couldn't of even dreamt of having four years ago, is tremendously humbling. I feel so grateful to the fates that have lead me to this path. I guess I'm out of that slump.

The weather has been very changeable to the point we are outside in the heat when suddenly

it all goes dark and we're tottling back inside again. Not great for headaches I can tell you!!!

Molly's final teggy two are just coming through now, you can see where the gaps used to be in the last picture!

Speaking of (weeks) we took these aaages ago when Jamie met us from work at the park.

I do wish for the sun to come back :( Today it feels like winter, we've been wearing a lot of snuggly clothes

and drinking hot chocolates.. Come back sun! I'm not ready for winter yet!

..I really do love that last one!

IT'S OFFICIAL!

I've finished second year!!!!

And so to celebrate I'm spending the afternoon in bed, making lists,

painting my nails and watching Harry Potter.

Pretty darn good!

So, a summer wishlist.

The glasses to go with all our summer outfits,

the leggings to brighten up outfits on a chillier day (I also want them in mint!)

the hat for a summery twist on old outfits,

the necklace because it is perfect,

and THOSE Nike's.

I'm gutted I wasn't as prepared as last year,

LAST year Liberty's Nikes S/S collection came out

I ordered my beautiful hightops that morning.

I shall forever regret not grabbing these PERFECT Airs!!!

It's also making me SO angry they are now all over ebay for £150!

Anyone willing to sell me a pair in a size 3 or 4 for £90

please let me know.. I'm a bit desperate haha!

New York New York!

Here's a Summer oldie of Molly as I took it before I got a blogspot. This was the first time she went in the garden a few days after she learnt to sit on her own. It was the first time she felt the grass in her hands and on her toes, the most incredible feeling to share this first with her. I miss her I miss her I miss her. It's only been a couple of hours. I cried in the car when we left Lindsay's, but we are packed and ready to go and I am beginning to get excited. I feel like we've forgotten something. We've always forgotten something. AAAARGH! Have a wonderful weekend everyone :)
