Easter Sunday

easter hunt
I love arranging an Easter Hunt for Molly. It's one of my favourite things to do each year. Arranging the eggs and bits and trinkets ready to keep her going until the Summer. This year, Mr Bunny brought her a book (thanks mum!) and Kinetic sand! I love this stuff, it's mesmerizing. Both girls wore ears!!!! And got dressed up. They are so beautiful. I am so lucky. I can't wait for next year to watch them hunt together.

Easter 2016

Typing Easter already seems terribly distressing. Wasn't it Christmas two weeks ago!? It feels like we only just took our tree down haha. (but really..)

We knew Jamie had Good Friday off for a while but we'd written the day off since he would be exhausted from his brief but busy day in Switzerland, haha. Anyway, we BOTH got up at 6am!!! WHAT. I say got up, Margaux hit and poked us until we woke up, then shouted at us 'til we got out of bed an hour later. And actually I don't feel as though I'm going to die.. yet.

Having gained a (sunny) day Molly chose to go to Bradgate park to see the Deer and the Ducks. We aimed to leave at 10.. but Margaux fell asleep. Lucky thing. Molly and I took her scooter to pick up picnic supplies and by the time everything was ready it was lunch time.

I am still working backwards trying to fill in the blogging gaps from my phone notes and notebook. But I'm using Jamie's laptop and it's stressing me out haha! So for now I'm going to just go for it for 2016 because I miss it.

Doing Easter Right.

A photo collection from our Easter Holidays. Blogger has over-saturated everything sorry! Molly was pretty pleased with her finds. The easter bunny did good and she had outings with both sets of cousins- hurrah!
^^Easter pancakes and nest cakes- Molly and I ate most of the mix before it got to the fridge ;)
^^ The tool kit was excessive but necessary.. Molly kept stealing my hammer :|

My sister got Molly this book for her birthday last year and it's been a firm favourite ever since, so we decided to take the children to go and see Dogs Don'd Do Ballet as an Easter treat. Molly was adorable during the show. She sat on my knee and held Jamie's hand. My 'I never want to forget' moment was when it got a bit scary and she snuggled in. Could she be any cuter?!

Hoppy Easter!!

Hoppy Easter!! I've worked this bank holiday and we've been very busy so I'll post more in the week, and I might address the fact that it's been over a month. Or I might not ;)

Molly is the cutest little bunny though no? These two past easter's here and here might sway you ;)

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter from my little Easter Bunny! Remember last year? Well, they still fit!! I'm so pleased. I tried to whip some up for myself too but they didn't turn out quite so well ha! I hope everyone is having a wonderful Easter. We did plan to visit Calke Abbey however the weather wasn't looking brilliant and my car isn't as full of petrol as I like it to be so instead we've enjoyed the festival eating bagels, hot cross buns and crumpets with lots of nice films and tea. We've not gone overboard with gifts (I would of liked to of bought her another Blabla bunny) just a little white chocolate egg to add to her collection. After I gave her room a quick tidy for these pictures she found her little Christmas box so I gave her some of her own buttons to arrange in it. She loves boxes and little trinkets and at one point this morning gave each button a little kiss. Everyone's commenting on how much of a little girl she is growing to be at the moment and I couldn't agree more. She's now singing words to songs and today repeated all the sounds of the letters on her flash cards. She still can't identify them from each other but now she's repeating me I feel like we're getting somewhere. I'm so proud. Once this weather warms up it will be time to start potty training and before I know it she will be starting school. She's still our 'beebee' for now though and I've never seen a cuter one* :)

*I might be biased ;)

Easter 2012.

Again, last Easter was rather neglected as we were still getting used to tiny newborn Molly,
I had a million hand-ins and we were getting ready to move house. This year we had a little
time so last night I made Molly some little ears! I love them, here's the tutorial, I saw it linked
on Kelli's blog. Next year, or next time we have a dress up night out I shall be making some
for me too! Molly had a little basket full of treats and little hair clips I've been making her.
Her Aunty and Uncle got her the most lovely personalised egg, and Jamie and I got her a few
mini lindt bunnies. They are my favourite, my mum used to get me one every year :)
(Do excuse my messy kitchen)
Molly had two baths today! She's become rather a messy eater lately, but it did mean she got to
wear two Easter outfits :) We had a few sunday visits planned for friends and family but in the end
didn't even leave the house, though the Easter Bunny struck again in the form of grandparents and
Molly got some more white chocolate! I won't need to get her any pudding for months.
It was nice to make a little Easter effort, I'm going to try a little harder with family days but it's ever so
enjoyable. Right, time to try and sleep as I have a busy week and a lot of writing to do next week.
Universities and babies- who knew it would be such hard work!
-Bring on the dog!
