July means..

July means two things, Chaz' Birthday, and Strawberry picking. We go every year (with Aunty Chaz since Jamie has an "allergy" to strawberries.. I'm on to you Roberts). Molly and I usually eat them all by the end of the day and this year we got through them even quicker with the help of baby Roberts.
Last years photo's haven't been edited yet as they are Raw files.. and I don't have a computer of my own to put my camera software on. So bear with me. They're worth the wait...for me anyhow.
As far as summer season goes this is proving to be the best. I have two little ladies to share it with and I'm not pregnant (sorry Rhiannon). I've filled our diary with a different activity each week to make this the best.summerholiday.ever. !!!!!!!!!!!!! It's Molly's first School Summer holidays so I wanted to make sure it's extra special. I'm back at work three days a week now and I'm spending Saturdays with my grandmother who's entering the last chapter so it's extra important my days with my girls are made the most of. I always have silly worries that our bond won't be as strong if they are spending more days with other people than they are me. They're only little once and I'll never get this time again <3

Strawberry Picking with the 'girls'

Strawberry picking!!! Getting in those activities before little miss takes over the holidays. With Aunty Chaz <3 Who just happens to take my camera and make magic happen. She really needs to get a DSLR.
The many faces of Molly Roberts. She's so funny the other day she was playing with her toys and said, 'Hello, how are you?' ... 'I really don't know about you, sir.'
Some of my favourite maternity images are those of the older sibling sitting high on their mamas bump. I really love these pictures. It's nice to have a record each year of the two/now three of us in the fields. I love mummying around with her. I'm a broken record but her features, her hands, her elbows, her shoulders. I just adore her. The closer my due date comes the tighter I squeeze her. I am however looking forward to referring to Molly and her sister as 'the girls'. We're gonna have so much fun us three.

Strawberry Picking

Aunty Chaz is home!! Chaz is one of my people, you know the ones that just make you happy being around them. She's kind and funny, and typically lives in Abu Dhabi.. BUT she's home for the summer and every year we've said we'll take Molly Strawberry picking, and so finally we did!

Molly only wanted to pick white ones?? But had a lot of fun doing it. And then had more fun in the £2.50 play area that had a tractor, fire engine and 'tree house' only dreams are made of, so I can sort of forgive her ;) I quite fancy going again actually, even if it's just to have a tea while Molly plays/rearranges treehouse furniture (.. for £2.50 grumble grumble).

Chaz took some beautiful pictures of Molly and I that I am in love with but I'm gonna save those for another post.

On another note, I am seriously embracing this weather. If only we could guarantee it every year I don't think anyone would have to fly abroad ever! Though I am a sweaty mess at the end of everyday.. a small price to pay I think :P

Anyway, the point I am trying to make at the end of this is, don't put off Strawberry picking because it's reasonably priced and the strawberries are much nicer than the supermarket boxes.
