Summer is around the corner!

I've really been enjoying our time outside, and finally after all these
April showers the sun has come back out!
It's a blessing having the park around the corner
from our home. Whenever Molly gets a little restless we can just nip out for a walk
and have a little play. Last summer I used to take her on the big girl swings on my lap because
she was too little on the baby ones. Then the lucky girl got to watch mummy do it
all on her own from her pushchair.. she found it hilarious honest!
Now I think she's just glad to have a whole swing to herself.
I love the three of Molly so much I plan to print them and hang them as a series
somewhere in our home. We still haven't been brave enough to hang anything
and we've been here a whole year, time to get hammering I think!

Note: I took these a couple of weeks ago during our incredible heatwave to see more follow us on instagram, search teaandfairylights :)

Easter 2012.

Again, last Easter was rather neglected as we were still getting used to tiny newborn Molly,
I had a million hand-ins and we were getting ready to move house. This year we had a little
time so last night I made Molly some little ears! I love them, here's the tutorial, I saw it linked
on Kelli's blog. Next year, or next time we have a dress up night out I shall be making some
for me too! Molly had a little basket full of treats and little hair clips I've been making her.
Her Aunty and Uncle got her the most lovely personalised egg, and Jamie and I got her a few
mini lindt bunnies. They are my favourite, my mum used to get me one every year :)
(Do excuse my messy kitchen)
Molly had two baths today! She's become rather a messy eater lately, but it did mean she got to
wear two Easter outfits :) We had a few sunday visits planned for friends and family but in the end
didn't even leave the house, though the Easter Bunny struck again in the form of grandparents and
Molly got some more white chocolate! I won't need to get her any pudding for months.
It was nice to make a little Easter effort, I'm going to try a little harder with family days but it's ever so
enjoyable. Right, time to try and sleep as I have a busy week and a lot of writing to do next week.
Universities and babies- who knew it would be such hard work!

Hoarding.

A couple of weeks ago Molly and I went to a carboot, I LOVE carboots but I've been watching a
lot of Get Your House In Order (a program about hoarders) and I'm terrified about ending up with
a life of clutter and never finishing my half done projects, so this may be my last car boot for the
summer.. or so I say. It was a rather disappointing trip however I am pretty happy with Molly's
racoon money box and the pretty spoons. The teapots are probably another 'hoard' buy but they
were very cheap- if anyones interested I have a paypal and you are more that welcome to take
them off my hands! They are very cute, an owl and a pussy cat. If my Grandmother was alive
she's of loved them!
Molly's not too keen on the grass on her skin, this is the first time since last summer she had felt it,
I'm hoping with a little persuasion she'll get over the worry. If not we'll be staying on the blankets
this year! The weather is still pretty miserable so she has some time to think about it.

Any tips to stop hoarding/get more organised with 'projects'? Haha!

Miss Mox Got The Pox.

Poor Molly has Chicken Pox :( I discovered a spot this morning on her
forehead and when I took her to her childminders at 8am it turned out her playmate
got them last night! So far they haven't been to bad for her and like the amazing
trooper she is she hasn't let them dampen her spirits! I think she is super happy
she's been able to spend some time with her daddy as he has been kind enough
to take some time off work to look after her while I finish my last week at uni,
exams and hand-ins are looming! I have 9000 words to write ASAP! Eeek.
Impeccable timing though to get the dreaded pocks while I get some time off.
I'm so glad I can really focus on taking care for her. Well done Molly!

She had a lovely long bath this afternoon to soothe her, you can just about see the big
nasty pock I spotted on her forehead. A few more have appeared and I've been putting
on some chamomile ointment as we go. We've been dressing her in nice soft clothes that
rub as little as possible and as soon as I found out before I drove home I grabbed her some
of her favourite snacks, a new toy to cheer her up and some special soft sun hats so that she
can spend some time outside with her daddy during their day together.

If you have any suggestions to help make this time as easy for her as possible I'd really appreciate
hearing them :) Thankyou.

Over and out from the Pox-Roberts household!

Family Breakfast.

Jamie went away this weekend for a friends birthday so
before he left we decided to go for breakfast just us three..

(Jamie hasn't got the best camera aim!)

We decided to let Molly stand with her breakfast which she seemed
to enjoy, I do feel sorry for her having to be confined in
highchairs/pushchairs/carseats. She loved the giant windows and being able
to move up and down with her fruit loaf.
It also meant she could steal daddy's crépe's easily!
Cheeky girl.
I'll be doing a DIY for Molly's hair clip very soon :D
I've been a bit felt mad lately!
