This week..

Molly learnt to WALK!
If you follow me on twitter and tumblr then you'll know I made a pretty big deal of it when she
just stood up and walked across the lounge all on her own!
No fuss, just got up and walked like she'd been doing it for years.
Well now she's showing off more and more and today when we got a bit of sun
she got to walk bare foot, mummy's favourite :)
Next stop- walking in shoes!

Finger Paint!

This week Molly and I made finger paint from this recipe.
It's pretty easy just add flour, sugar and water over a hob until smooth
allow it to cool and add the food dye!
I must admit I as too excited to let it go completely smooth.
I was dubious as to how good it was for Molly but she seemed to
enjoy eating and playing with it (mostly eating..)
Next time I'll add more food dye to get a stronger print :)

..once Molly tired of the paint she was in the cupboards!

Market Bosworth.

The weather recently has been wonderful, it's been such a joy not to have to
layer Molly with vests and to banish the tights! Since Chaz is visiting for the
week, on monday we decided to go out into the countryside for some lunch.
Happily, we ended up in Market Bosworth. Here are a few snaps from our day :)
(Worlds biggest bird nest or a strange type of tree that clusters like this? Either way it seemed
to be a bird hotel!)
All the quaint little houses inspired me so much to sort our front garden (as well
as buy a new house in the sticks!) I want to paint our front door olive, get a white
picket fence, plant some climbing rose bushes and a beautiful hanging basket like the
one above. So many plans I need to draw up some designs!

Chaz took some lovely pictures of Molly and I in front of the lake and I'm very
excited to do a separate post on those later. She really is the most perfect little creature.

Miss Mox Got The Pox.

Poor Molly has Chicken Pox :( I discovered a spot this morning on her
forehead and when I took her to her childminders at 8am it turned out her playmate
got them last night! So far they haven't been to bad for her and like the amazing
trooper she is she hasn't let them dampen her spirits! I think she is super happy
she's been able to spend some time with her daddy as he has been kind enough
to take some time off work to look after her while I finish my last week at uni,
exams and hand-ins are looming! I have 9000 words to write ASAP! Eeek.
Impeccable timing though to get the dreaded pocks while I get some time off.
I'm so glad I can really focus on taking care for her. Well done Molly!

She had a lovely long bath this afternoon to soothe her, you can just about see the big
nasty pock I spotted on her forehead. A few more have appeared and I've been putting
on some chamomile ointment as we go. We've been dressing her in nice soft clothes that
rub as little as possible and as soon as I found out before I drove home I grabbed her some
of her favourite snacks, a new toy to cheer her up and some special soft sun hats so that she
can spend some time outside with her daddy during their day together.

If you have any suggestions to help make this time as easy for her as possible I'd really appreciate
hearing them :) Thankyou.

Over and out from the Pox-Roberts household!

Family Breakfast.

Jamie went away this weekend for a friends birthday so
before he left we decided to go for breakfast just us three..

(Jamie hasn't got the best camera aim!)

We decided to let Molly stand with her breakfast which she seemed
to enjoy, I do feel sorry for her having to be confined in
highchairs/pushchairs/carseats. She loved the giant windows and being able
to move up and down with her fruit loaf.
It also meant she could steal daddy's crépe's easily!
Cheeky girl.
I'll be doing a DIY for Molly's hair clip very soon :D
I've been a bit felt mad lately!
