Oooooh prettyy,,

The other day we were getting ready to meet some friends and as I was filling Molly's backpack I heard some concentrated grunting and found Molly wearing my boots!! I HAD to grab the camera even though we were running late. She LOVES shoes. 'Nu shoooooos' was one of the most pronounced things she said over the summer, and the obsession has continued. She wears my flats all the time around the house, and she squeals and squeals when I tell her off for wearing my high HIGH shoes but I let her have her 3 minute moment in the not-too-high sparkly ones. They are my take on Dorothy's ruby reds, as I am not a red fan. Off on a tangent, I think Molly has a penchant for sparkles, I was wearing my sparkly skirt on saturday and she pointed at it and when 'Ooooooh prettyyyy', Jamie wasn't so sure on the pretty but I know what I heard ;)

Wears,,

Wears for my day of thunder and dissertation conversation. And yes, I did kinda go for a Kelli Murray look today.. I just wish I had the ALDO studded shoes opposed to the Topshop Vectra's, and a white shirt opposed to striped! (I do in fact have a sleeveless white one but I forgot it existed.. another reason I need to get on with my ebaying) The weather's been a little crazy today- at one point the sky went black, we had hail as big as golf balls and thunder and lighting like nothing I've heard before! Molly was spending the day with her childminder and after my dissy meeting I had planned to get my hair cut(it's been six months!) however after I discovered a big fat parking ticket (I was 15 minutes late!) and then the weather went a little bi-polar so I decided it was probably better for me to be at home where I could get Molly more easily if need be rather than get stranded in the city. Apparently she loved the thunderstorm while I stayed indoors getting on with the cleaning and the washing (I have riveting times when Molly spends the day with her pals can you tell?). Oooh I'm so excited to get on with my work! I was actually late getting back to my car because I was in the library- I now have a book list as long as my arm. Today has been a good day today (minus the parking ticket.. and the fact my hair is now out of control long). Next on my to do list, get a hair cut!

Hello There Antlers.

Again Primark have been killing it lately and I snagged this mint belt for £1!! £1!!!! The sandals were a
bit more pricey at £12 but since I can't find any Saltwaters over here I thought they'd do,
and would look very nice in the summer with these crochet shorts and a tan.
Loving anything crochet at the moment.
And colour, cannot get enough of my pastel jeans and bright nail varnish!

Pretty Prints.

I am loving Primark at the minute!! How gorgeous are those shoes, the fabric looks very Liberty.
I'm also very happy with the Cath Kidston style sunglasses case for £1.50! Hopefully my sunnies won't break and scratch this year. And a real Cath Kidston mug from the charity shop for £2!
It's been a good week.

I really want a new bag for the summer, on that fits everything INCLUDING my big camera.I have a plan to put everything into little bags and keep it organised for our days out so that we can just slip out of the house. (Having a baby means you can't forget ANYTHING!)
Any suggestions?

Tigers, Stripes and Walruses.

Yesterday we gave Mollymoo to Jamie's mum and dad for the evening so we could go on our 'date'. The date on which Jamie was supposed to give me my watch!! But it was just as nice having already been given the watch to have a night just the two of us :) First we went to watch the Leicester Tigers, my first ever Rugby game. It was so cold, we had to share a glove! We were planning on going to the cinema afterwards to see Sherlock Holmes, but Molly had been a little clingy lately so we decided just to go for dinner in case she was difficult getting to bed. I hope we get to see it before it finishes at the cinema. We went to Terracotta for an all you can eat buffet, needless to say I'm still full! We didn't watch much of the Rugby, it was so nice just to chat we're usually so focused on Molly and her toilet trips that day to really spend time together.

Because it was so COLD I wore Jeans from Madewell, Studded shoes from Topshop (instantly regretted not wearing socks!! I brought heeled boots to change into for dinner but my feet were so numb I thought my toes might break if I put them in!) Shirt from Primark, Jumper from Madewell (SO gutted they don't ship to the UK) and Jacket from H&M, Watch Michael Kors.

Got my (rose) gold watch and my gold chain..

SO Jamie came home with a Goldsmiths bag last night.. the watch I've wanted for over a year! I was so shocked, I cried!! I had to get three links removed it was so huge. I feel so lucky I can't stop staring at it, he's such a spoiler! I can hand on heart say I have the best boyfriend in the world :) 2012 I promise never to take my life for granted.

My grandparents came to visit today which was lovely, I got to give them their Christmas gifts. We went for dinner and they of course admired Molly :) I forgot to get any pictures which I am gutted about, but never mind. I hope to visit them again soon.

Tonight I met Chaz for a bit of late night shopping before she leaves for Wales, I'm gonna miss her so much we've hardly seen each other this holiday. I was a bit naughty and bought the blue polka dot trousers, but also grabbed a bargain with a pair of burgandy polka dot shorts I wanted at full price that sold out, they were only for £16.50!! Chaz also got deal of the year- a pair of low suede bugandy heels for £5!!! Marked as twenty but when we got to the till they came to £4.50 with student discount! We have a Topshop problem.

Me Peterpan collar dress- H&M, Skirt- Primark, Velvet Shoes- Topshop, Bag- Topshop, Watch- Michael Kors!
Chaz I must ask her 'what she wore', I might start featuring my friends outfits.. if they let me!

Lazy Mondays.

I am a great time waster, and yesterday Jamie and I managed to do absolutely NOTHING all day (what are bank holidays for!?). I’ve had a little run of bad luck lately with Mae my car, and her front bottom (the big bit of plastic that protects the engine) fell off when I was driving my brother to his hotel on New Years Eve! It was quite scary as I was on a dual carriageway, but I was able to pull over and James tied it back onto the bottom of the car with an old pair of Primark red tights that had been waiting to be taken back since I didn’t wear them to a ‘Where’s Wally’ night out! Hurrah for bad costume ideas! Anyhow it is now scheduled to be fixed tomorrow :) maybe our motor luck has changed for 2012 :)

I also meant to blog yesterdays outfit, modelled on my birthday bike which didn’t arrive until two days before Christmas!! I had a little go on Christmas night, after Molly had gone to bed, Jamie built it for me but last week he went to pump up the tyres and couldn’t get the pump to work! So I haven’t ridden her since. She’s lovely to play with in the kitchen though :) I went for a comfy house outfit, nothing makes me happier than prancing around in long socks.. my heating bill does not appreciate this, so my favourite cardigan from NY is very much needed to stay extra snug!

Santa baby.

Again, quite late but I never posted about our presents and I did last year so let's not break tradition! Very lucky and very much spoiled again this year with a teapot from Ross. A Superdry hoodie, an amazing calender- a surprise from a craft fair we went to a few weeks ago and pjs from Momma and Pappa Roberts. Lindsay and the family gave Jamie and I £50 for dollars before we went to NY AND gave me the retro Carousel set from boots to open on the day! My grandparents got me some leather Vans, I love how much they look like mens shoes. Zoe was very naughty and spoiled me with this amazing chopping board and a beautiful evergreen sheer shirt, she knows me so well!! And Jamie got me the Maison Scotch notebook and necklace and moustache teacup from this lovely Etsy :) I shall be buying much more from Mr Teacup in the new year!
I also bought myself a pie dish for free in the half price boots sale, it was for free because I used my points collected from buying nappies! I plan to make a sweet pie first. I also was a bit naughty and got this skirt from Topshop which on my mothers visit earlier in the week, she took up to make into a short skirt, I shall be taking it up and down a lot I think because the print is just so wonderful.
Not pictured, my mum and stepdad got me a bollero, the heart shaped slate placemats I've been after(!!), a tripod and my brother got me a photography coffee table book :)

I think I'll save the notebook for a rainy day project. I don't want to waste it on useless lists. I don't wanna waste the ink in the pen either!!

I couldn't be happier with this tea cup, it's so pretty!!! As you will see here on Christmas day I used it for my morning tea, and I haven't used many other cups since. It's funny how a certain cup or mug will make you feel. I hope to spend more on Joanne's plates in the future as they will make me feel better about eating haha. Do you have a favourite teacup or mug?

I've really enjoyed seeing everyone else's Christmas gift sets, I hope everyone had a lovely time with their family and the end of the holiday season hasn't put too much of a downer on things. I personally am not looking forward to taking down my tree.
